One thing that nobody likes to admit is that beautiful women can be considered a very valuable form of currency. I feel like as men, we all kind of understand this to be true. But in today’s PC culture with all this #metoo bullshit, it’s risky to say something like that.
But the fact remains: show up in person anywhere with 5-6 hot girls with you, and you can get pretty much anything you want.
That’s one of the major lessons in SCBP 2.0. Although the guy running the course doesn’t actually come out and say it in those words, you can’t underestimate the power of a group of hot female friends.
For example, I can contact high end restaurants in New York and tell them that I’m going to come in with 5-6 models and that I’d like them to comp the bill for me. Not all of them will say yes, but a lot of restaurants/hotels have things like this in place in order to boost the status of their restaurant.
And if I bring along a photographer (i.e. an additional human being with a camera other than a smartphone), I might even be able to make some money out of it.
The question then remains: how to put all of it together?
I alluded to it in one of my previous posts, but I’ll spell it out for you again here. The simple way of explaining it is that you just tell all the parties involved that the other parties are already involved. You make it seem like the event is going to happen with or without them, and that you just want to know if they’d like to participate.
For example, one of the recent campaigns I’ve been running has been contacting local businesses in NYC and essentially asking them if they’d be willing to comp dinners/drinks/whatever for me if I show up with a group of hot girls. I make some shit up about how I’m a nightclub promoter and know lots of models.
Some of them obviously respond more favorably than others, but the interest is there.
So now we’ve got the venue – how to get the girls?
Well, I could do it the old fashioned way and go out every night, approach girls, try to befriend them and then tactically seed the idea of bringing them to a casual photoshoot at a fancy restaurant, take their number and social media, contact them a few days later and hope they don’t flake.
Seems like a lot of work, no?
The whole idea of SCBP 2.0 is to use your time as efficiently as possible. I’m a big fan of this already which is why I use so much automation software in my various side hustles. I used to spend a lot of time at the beach. But now I just freeze my ass of in New York.
Anyway, to figure out how to do this, you have to try and think like a “normal’ person. What kind of life could you structure for yourself where you’d have hot girls contacting you and asking to hang out? What types of people have that happen to them?
High end model photographers are an easy answer. Models are nothing without the guys (usually) who take pictures of them.
And while I am a fucking bomb ass photographer (if I do say so myself), I’d rather not be the one sitting there snapping the photos. For one thing, it’s higher value to actually have a friend/worker do it for you so you can enjoy yourself. And for another, I don’t have to actually go out and buy a $500 camera when I could be spending that money on vintage fur coats and colored contact lenses.
Nightclub promoters are another one. But again, that involves a lot of work. You have to go out every night and meet these people one by one, befriend them, etc etc until you have a bunch of people that you know. It’s kind of the same situation as being a photographer but in a different setting. You still have to do all the work.
But what if you just surround yourself with nightclub promoters and photographers? Wouldn’t that be easier than doing all the work yourself?
It’s the same as selling your services as a writer vs hiring a sales team to do it for you. As a freelancer, you need to close each client individually. But as a business owner, you have a team of people doing the work for you and all you have to do is manage them instead.
I’ve said it before, but it’s strange how we spend so much time meticulously planning our professional lives to be as efficient as possible. Especially those of us who work in internet marketing and are aware that we can scale our efforts with the right software.
But in our personal lives we still do things the old fashioned way.
So the other day I was thinking how I could apply this automation/outsourcing thinking to my personal life. What I really needed was a network of hot girls and models that I could basically use to trade for free shit. Comped dinners, bottle service, maybe some new clothes, whatever.
Originally what I did was try to contact modeling agencies, strip clubs and escort services en masse in order to basically pitch them on what I was doing. The issue there is that you’re contacting a business, and that type of business is more likely to want to sell the services of the models instead of trading them for a free dinner.
The individual models themselves are generally poor and not so business savvy. The trick is to figure out how to create a situation where they’re contacting you individually so that you can bring them wherever you want.
To be fair, even this isn’t ideal. In a perfect world, I’d be able to meet the people who run these agencies and work out a deal with them where they’d just let me use 5-6 of their models any time I wanted for whatever I wanted. The trick then becomes how to figure out how to add value to their lives so that they’ll let me use their resource for free. That actually just gave me an idea. But I’ll get to that in a second.
Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I figured out a minor workaround to my problem by posting an ad on Craigslist. For $10 I posted a gig that basically laid out exactly what I wanted to do. I won’t post it word for word, but here’s the gist of it:
Hi everyone. We are doing a super casual photoshoot at a high end restaurant in the city and are looking for 8-10 attractive female models. This is a high end place, so please dress to impress. There is no pay, but all food and alcohol will be comped. Photos will be available for you to help build your portfolio and you’re of course welcome to put whatever you want on Snap/IG.
Please be comfortable in front of the camera. Also very important that you know how to behave in a high status environment.
Afterwards we’ll be going to a high end club/lounge in the city where we’ll get a few bottles and enjoy the rest of the night.
If you’re interested, please send the following:
Full body shot
Social media (IG/Snap/FB/etc)
Preferred consideration given to girls who have a larger social media following, but even if you don’t it’s not a deal breaker so don’t be afraid to apply. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I posted this last night at around 1 AM, and today at 10 AM I’ve already gotten about ten responses. Basically offering them a free night out in exchange for showing up. It’s so easy and cheap to do, I’m amazed that I didn’t think of this sooner.
Now, like I said before, this is not the most efficient method because I still need to sift through the girls individually and coordinate the invitations with them, etc.
The more efficient thing to do would be to find 1 person who can bring 10 models to an event any time I want. Maybe like the owner of the agency, the person in charge of business development, something like that.
But how to reach them?
Well, fortunately for me I am a master at lead generation. I’ve mentioned before how I use a scraper and contact form submitter to generate virtually all of my leads for social media management. So all I would have to do is scrape keywords like “modeling agency,” parse their contact pages/email addresses, and blast them all at once with something like this:
“Hello, I’m a professional internet marketer and I’d like to work out a partnership with your agency where I bring you paying clients an in exchange, you let me take your models out for a casual photoshoot, a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant and nightclub once or twice per week. Sounds too good to be true, but that’s actually what I’m proposing. If that’s something that you’re interested in, please get in touch.”
Send that to every modeling agency in the United States and boom – instant social circle.
The best part? I can do it in my underwear.
